Am I Successful, Am I good enough, or Do you have purpose
Am I SUCCESSFUL? Am I GOOD ENOUGH? Do I have a PURPOSE? If your highest need is to feel successful, good enough or having purpose, you are looking for achievements and recognition. You’re confident, focused and make everything you touch better. Your goal isn’t to be King of the Hill and beat everyone else, but you don’t want to lose! Competing against who you were last week/month can be rewarding for you and keeps connections. Identifying clear finish lines and celebrating progress is rewarding. Aligning our personal values with our daily lives is powerful and rewarding. You don’t need to hide anything, impress anyone or prove yourself. When you feel your contributions are valued, you’re respected and you matter, you stop striving for your own benefit and can powerfully push the whole team farther into the future! You’re a visionary.
From workshops participants, here are some of God’s truths that have set them free:
Q5 – Am I Successful?
· Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take. “
· Matthew 25:23 - “The master said, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’”
· Matthew 25:40 - “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’
Q6 – Am I Good Enough?
· John 15:5 “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.”
· 1 Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
Q7 – Do I have Purpose?
· John 13:34 “So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.”
· Ephesians 3:20 “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”
· Matthew 25:23 - “The master said, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’”
· Matthew 22:36-40 – “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.”
· Isaiah 64:8 says, “But now, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are the potter; we are all the work of Your hand.”
